Thinking back 2008... well, I had some great moments.... mostly Not in my home town, mostly involving some of my family. My Aunt, my brothers, my nieces..... of course the sister in laws and without a doubt with Ted.....
Had some not so great moments.... the headaches.... which continue when off the meds... damn I hate relying on medication to make me feel 'right'.
Surgeries, rashes, sad phone calls, and pain.... arggghhh...I would be OK to not write once about any of those in 09...but as Ron and I discussed...all that goes with the entire family being over 50....sigh....
but... I have a job I love, a home that will soon be fixed back to perfection and a family I adore.
Friends that support me and tell me when to get off.....
as with all cash flow will be tight as the recession deepens, but we are still planning a few expeditions this year. Definitely Aspen with Angie and Jen, and no doubt an October wedding in Madison..... if time and dollars can be found....maybe a trip to NYC , Reno or Florida.....
Happyness ahead....no looking back and wishing for what might have been.....two silly resolutions:
a book a month.... and learn to knit.
Simple. True.... no lofty loose 100 pounds, no crazy I won't gossip.... just simple.... things that will make me happy.....
for now...Happy New Year..... Everything Will be Fine in Two thousand Nine....
