Some days it is good to be me !

And today is one of those days.

My email has been filled with notes of love and understanding, a request from a loved one to spend some down time with me, and a night at work where I really feel like I made a difference.

there is an ad for the competing Children's Hospital, about "today I saved a childs life:".... well today, that is how I feel. I made a night a little less stressful for a family or two, and I gave great care.

This new EPIC thing, has some people in a tither...all wrapped up in all the things that are wrong with it. Well.... I love it , because it actually allows me to spend more time with my patiens, the prompts remind me to ask some of the important questions that a complete history and respiratory eval should include and.... it makes me better at what I do....

I have decided to finish reading Tolle, but I have also decided that I don;t buy what he is teaching. I think the Ego .... as he describes it.... is the vital part of you. that it is sometimes good when you are your Roll, when you do identify with what you have and what you do.... you don't have to judge others by what they may not have, or may not know....( although that can be difficult) but I think that you can be a more powerful and effecitve you if you let the Ego rule once in awhile.

I know today.... nore than many in the past, that I am loved by many, that I am great at what I do, and I am proud to be me. and that feels great!!!
