Well... together we hit the links this morning.... tying with a score of 106 I was overall pretty happy.... I haven't seriously golfed last year or this... so I will take the low 100's... He however was thrilled to be able to play 18 holes and really only tire on the 17th. 7 weeks after discharge from the hospital.... not bad all things considered. The pain he complains of is weird...but the reason might have been discovered today in that his gait has changed...in order to protect the incision he walks with his foot splayed out and a little stooped... so he will work on posture and straightening his leg...time will tell if this helps. The incision looks good.... as only He can "complicate things" the top 1 1/2 inches is still not healed while the remaining 10 inches looks completely healed.... his arm... ( from the gym mishap) is also healing well.... but that will be weeks I am afraid....
as far as "weeks" go.... another adventure is looming.... we are off to Vernal Utah and the Lonesome Horse Ranch for the wedding of the youngest grandchildren, Alex. She is marrying her rodeo bull riding beau Lucky Madsen. We are taking a the "retiree" travel mode.... the highway. It will be August so we are squeezing our few belongings into the Solstice and driving the 921 ( according to MapQuest) miles to Vernal. It will likely be a small event, and the Keyes/Keesee family the smallest portion, but I am really looking forward to it. Bonus is getting to see the son and his wife. We had thought that might not happen this year.... travel, finances and other commitments.... but this will be great opportunity.
Giddy-Up Ya All.....
