Looking back I was dreading today more than I cared to admit. But the loving man in my life was ever so patient, cooking dinner and distributing the few gifts we had to share. Together we declared a "no gift" Christmas, but there were a few things needed that got wrapped and under the tree and one sister in law who just can't resist spoiling me !!. I provided a few surprise gifts as well... that IS the best part...the giving... I found some perfect things and just had to.....
We heard from most today.... we were the bad ones this year, waiting for others to call.
Over all....it was good, peaceful with a Christmas Snowfall... unusual for Portland. and they were those big juicy Christmas Card snowflakes.... magical....I now regret not going out to play in them....
